во-первых вам надо в сизифовскую рассылку
во-вторых нуно более подробное описание, включая выдержки из
соотвествующих логов

Доброго вам , содружество!
Проблема в следующем:
Дистрибутив АЛЬТ Компакт 2.3 обновленный из Сизифа
До обновления звук присутствовал, а после -отсутствует в каком бы то
нибыло виде.
Обновлялась АLSA
карта C-media PCI CMI8738-MC6
чип CMEDIA PCI
вот такой вот барак
прошу помоши в сией проблеме
