Весь прикол в том, что для apt'a необходимо
настроить хотя бы kppp, а эта гадина (в смысле kppp)
при тестировании модема говорит все нормально, а
при наборе номера - нет сигнала в линии, да и minicom тоже самое
(скорее всего дрова к модему нужны не те которые он определил, а
методом подбора и собирать из исходника, а здесь опять возникает
необходимость в gcc)
вот и приходится софт тянуть из ХР перекладывать в АЛьТ и пробывать
да и вариант с диалапом для апта не очень хорош, т.к. скорость
закачки примерно 1К, а пока он прошелкает все ресурсы...
Или же настроить АЛьТ для этой связки на машине у которой в принципе
нет модема(да и не нужен от там, крутится она в своей локалке)
