Ох ты ж... как вариант, должно хватить копии /sbin/mdadm
из уже установленной системы, но это неудобно, конечно.

"...или вроде того". Там несколько секций с exclude,
возможно, стоит пройтись по всем (я в скрипт из пакета
для e2k подглядывал -- там надо было игнорировать IDE CF).

Это как раз понятно -- ты изменил runtime-состояние одного
ядра, другого ядра+udev+{mdadm,libevms,...} это не касается.
