Что-то nvidia не грузится с новым ядром 4.4.11-alt0.M80P.1:

Соответствующий kernel-modules-nvidia-std-def-361.42-alt3.263179.0.M80P.1 есть.
NVIDIA Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600 GT] (rev a2)
c 4.1.21-alt1 и kernel-modules-nvidia-std-def#361.42-alt3.262421.1 работает.

Что-то не обратил внимания на это. Вот:

Кстати, ещё с какого-то момента появилось

А вот это работает:

Но это NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2). Старые карты
приказали долго жить, или старые драйвера имеют шанс стать совместимыми
с новым ядром ? Или надо добавлять в репозиторий ядро retro ?
