Теоретически делаться это должно просто. Выбираем альтернативу и все.
Только на практике оно почему-то не срабатывает, остается прежний тип меню.
Перезагрузка не помогает.
Что еще можно сделать?
Система p7.

1) В какой DE не хочет переключать меню?
2) sudo /usr/sbin/altlinux-freedesktop-menu-post
не помог?

Торможу. Это было в kde.
