и сошлитесь хоть на меня, который такое поддерживать врагу

Причиной же ошибок мог быть зажатый memory_limit или настройки
suhosin по умолчанию, например. Начинать надо с журнала ошибок
веб-сервера (/var/log/httpd/error_log или где он там).
