Дело в том, что 4.0 был наиболее вылизанным и xorg тех времён
заметно лучше работал с подобными видеочипами, но вот firefox
там так и остался 2.0 -- бэкпорт чего-то заметно более свежего
сделать было затруднительно (для пятой версии есть десятый).

Их есть довольно много разных, релизы -- см. выше,
а вообще http://www.altlinux.org/LTSP; BTW недавно делал пробную
сборку на текущем сизифе, но пока получил проблемы в initrd
тонкого клиента (не монтировался NFS root).
