Сам по себе fdisk ни разу не меняет никаких кратностей.
Тот, который на fdisk -v отзывается версией 2.17.1 или выше
-- по умолчанию выравнивает начало разделов сразу на 2048 сектор,
а не на 63-й, как более ранние версии (которые требовали внимания
и понимания происходящего при разбивке SSD, 4k HDD и striped RAID).
