Сейчас это становится просто неактуально, ибо обновляться по сети нынче
недопустимо дорого разве что по мобильному в международном роуминге.
Я тут недавно осознал, что помню те времена, когда сизиф писали на
болванки, и рассылали по почте. И когда я сам за свежим сизифом один раз
ездил в офис альтов.
А сейчас, когда в Москве уже скорости порядка 50-60 мегабит для физлиц
вполне достпно... А ведь еще 10 лет назад помнится 2 мегабита анлим стоил
чуть ли не 10л$/месяц...
deltarpm может быть актуально разве что если в репоизторий начнут еще
более активно складывать игрушки всякие, особенно если у них лишь часть
медиаданных обновляется между версиями.
