Здравствуйте.
На всякий -- у меня на 5.1/branch при обновлении
nvidia_glx_common-195.36.31-alt79 до
nvidia_glx_common-256.44-alt81
пропали симлинки
/usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1
/usr/lib/libnvidia-tls.so.1
/etc/X11/lib/libGLcore.so.1
/etc/X11/lib/libnvidia-tls.so.1
и ручное их водружение (аналогично libGL.so.1) привело
к тому, что искомый mplayer запуститься попытался, но получил
segmentation fault (ошибку сегментации).
Решилось откатом к старой версии:
rpm -Uvh --oldpackage ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/archive/Sisyphus/2010/06/16/files/i586/RPMS/nvidia_glx_common-195.36.31-alt79.i586.rpm
