Согласно таблице по ссылке (на 2007 г.(?)) ваша карта запускается с
драйвером glint. Правда это в XFree86 4.x..

что касается Xorg, то когда искал сейчас что-нибудь про эту карту,
промелькнуло вроде в анонсах поиска, что вроде кто-то пробовал драйвер
nv. Странно, конечно, но почему бы не поэкспериметировать.. Что говорит
Xorg.0.log про Геркулеса?
