Скорее всего, модуль не попал в initrd. Посмотрите вывод при загрузке,
попадает ли это модуль. Чтобы пофиксить, загрузитесь с LiveCD, chroot'нитесь в
файловую систему и запустите mkinitrd. См. также мои советы на
