Как обычно:
rpm -e ... (имя пакета)
затем перенес (удалил, если сохраненные ссылки-пароли не нужны) ~/.opera
для очистки совести пробежался по /usr (на предмет остатков-хвостов) - у меня
все было чисто.
затем rpm -i .....
Кстати, потом, для эксперимента, вернул назад ~/.opera - все продолжает
работать....
