Да, точно. Попробую тогда пересобрать без требования tetex-core.

А вы проверьте, не тащат ли эти два пакета за собой ещё чего-нибудь.
Все бинарники собираются из texlive-bin, остальные пакеты - платформо-
независимые. И бранче-независимые тоже, скорее всего.
