Здравствуйте!
Обновился до branch 5.0 (с 4.1)
Решил проблему с симлинком, который отсутствовал
(здесь было обсуждение: отсутствовала ссылка в /boot/splash/
создал:
# ln -s /boot/splash/desktop/message /boot/splash/message)
Решил уменьшить время ожидания в lilo.conf (до 5 секунд):
timeout="50"
после всего:
# lilo
Fatal: /boot/splash/message is too big (> 524287 bytes)
Как победить?
Там же, в /boot/splash/, кроме /desktop есть еще /desktop-system, а в ней (в
папке) message с размером 393216 байт...
