Для внешних жестких дисков оно всегда так.
Насколько я понимаю, это связано с тем, что само устройство (переход USB-IDE
или USB-SATA) не отзывается на eject и не отключается.
И оно, в принципе, правильно, ибо на винте может быть более одного раздела, а
отключать весь винт при размонтировании только одного раздела не есть
правильно.
Винт можно смело отключать, ибо ФС уже размонтирована, все данные скинуты и
новых никто не допишет.
