В принципе я его почти завёл. Заводил по образу и подобию epson perfection
1270, описаное в

Добился что выдаётся и от root'а:
[root@oasu3 /]# scanimage -L
device `epson:libusb:001:015' is a Epson flatbed scanner
[root@oasu3 /]#
и от пользователя:
[ashen@oasu3 ~]$ scanimage -L
device `epson:libusb:001:015' is a Epson flatbed scanner
[ashen@oasu3 ~]$
Но вот scanimage -pT ругается:
[root@oasu3 /]# scanimage -pT
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
[root@oasu3 /]#
[ashen@oasu3 ~]$ scanimage -pT
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
[ashen@oasu3 ~]$
А xsane не может ни чего отсканировать от пользователя, выдавая
ошибку "Невозможно инициализировать сканер: Неверный аргумент".
Куда копать?
