Здравствуте всем!
Установил lite-4.1-beta-20080925 на (не смейтесь) Р-150 с
подключеной COM-мышью. Колесо мыши не работает.
Поиски в интернете привели к правке в xorg.conf:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "/dev/ttyS0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Device" "/dev/ttyS0"
Option "Protocol" "IntelliMouse"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection
Колесо не заработало.
Может кто-что подскажет? Или поддержка COM-мышей умерла?

Увы, близко к тому :( Попробуйте в консоли cat /dev/ttyS0 (возможно,
придётся от рута) и покрутите колесо. Если в консоль что-то посыплется
при этом -- надежда есть, если нет -- возможно, что колесо на мыши
дохлое (как-то раз такое видел). Кстати, а модель мыши какая?

Попробовал. Действительно, колесо мертвее мертвого.
А поддержка COM-мышей действительно умирает - по умолчанию
среднюю кнопку тоже не видно - включена эмуляция... :(

Да, наверное, и необходимости такой нет. Сейчас мышь стоит как
пачка бумаги. Просто у нас негде ее вот так сходу купить.
Пришлось пользовать что есть. Потом заменю на более современный
вариант.
