Хм, про compcache не знал, интересно. А он как-нибудь в процессах/free
т.п. появляется? Его можно как-нибудь отключить -- чтобы освободить
"быструю" память (уже безотносительно этого топика)?
А последние два варианта же, насколько понимаю, только для LTSP?
А здесь про Desktop говорили.
