Здравствуйте.
Есть такая проблема с EDGE/GPRS модемами (и не только).
В современных моделях принято использовать такую ерунду как
порт-мультиплексор.
В результате модем признается, видится последовательный порт, но ничего не
работает. В частности это наблюдается в модемах от NovaWay.
Для USB модели это проявлялось в том, что работало оно только при вызове
pppd call ...
да и то с периодическими затыками, излечиваемыми отключением/подключением
модема.
А для PCMCIA модели вообще никак не работает.
В виндовс оно, естественно, работает прекрасно, ибо ставится специальный
драйвер для оного мультиплексора, под которым обнаруживаются еще порты.
Есть ли решение для данного безобразия?
Кто-нибудь достигал реальных результатов?
Есть ли, например, в свежих (или даже старых) альтовских ядрах драйвера для
этих самых портмультиплексоров, что вставляют в модемы?
