как повезёт. ядро, которое используется при инсталляции всего, что
основано на 4.0/branch довольно старое, как следствие установка
получится не на любом железе.
если всё-таки удаётся установить систему, но часть оборудования не
работает (например wi-fi) карты, ядро придётся бэкпортить из сизифа.
готовое взять уже, наверное, не получится из-за lzma в новом rpm.

корректно. заполнять xorg.conf можно через alterator-x11, например. или
через Xorg -configure.
