Просто у меня полтора года назад сложилось мнение, что только obex&syncml
позволяют делать корректный импорт телефонной книги со всеми полями (имя - к
имени, фамилия - к фамилии, список всех телефонов контакта), на нормальном
русском языке, и т.д., и т.п.
Всякие gnokii хороши для СМСок, но для телефонной книги, а особенно
синхронизации, сосут.

Там совершенно не обязательно делать двухстороннюю синхронизацию. Скажем, я
использую syncml-obex-client только для импорта телефонной адресной книги в
KDEшную, а все новые контакты завожу на телефоне.
С другой стороны, может, я напрасно боюсь - за полтора года много воды утекло,
может, всё и в две стороны работает :))
