IMHO лучше как раз скопировать, чтобы не возвращаться к этой
недоработке (заложились на udev, не положили даже минимума
девайсов).
Желающие помочь с исправлением этого класса багов приглашаются
потестировать на себе dev-minimal и dev из Daedalus или отсюда:
