Чуть более рискованно:
ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/4.0/branch
(пакеты стабильные, а вот дистрибутив в целом может видоизмениться: дизайн
превратится из Desktop в какой-нибудь "Лёгкий Линукс", помойное ведро
внезапно откочует с рабочего стола в панель и т. п. мелочи).
Сам плотно сижу на branch.
