видите ли, проблема в том, что wine@etersoft отличается версии wine из
апстрима только патчами от etersoft, и не является самостоятельной
разработкой, как думают некоторые из присутствующих.
итого, получается двойная работа. положить в репозитарий 2 версии
wine. причём с вероятностью в 0.99, то, что не заработает в
wine@etersoft, не будет работать и в обычном wine.
внимание, вопрос. зачем делать двойную работу, если она не имеет
практического смысла ? чтобы какой-нибудь чайник, запустив нечто в 2-х
версиях wine мог сказать "хм.... не работает...." ?
в данном случае, т.н. "свобода" не даёт реальных преимуществ, а только
добавляет лишний пакет довольно занятому maintainer'у.
как истинно свободный человек, соберите себе wine сами, положите в
репозитарий. пользы от этого поступка будет неизмеримо больше, чем от
потока писем в рассылку.
