Аналогичный чипсет и звук, всё работает. ALSA 1.0.14 (которая у нас даже
в сизифе, если не ошибаюсь) "не умеет" этот чипсет играть. Поставьте
алсу из дедала или пересоберите сами, и выставьте параметр модулю (после
установки) - должен быть или acer, или 3stack (у меня заработало с
acer). Параметр надо выставлять в /etc/modprobe.d/sound, что-то навроде
options snd-hda-intel model=acer
