Бэкапить -- да (только как и указали -- необязательно редко :),
менять -- раз в три-пять. Гугли говорят, что скорее раз в три
(причём и SATA, и SCSI, и FC), обычно народ сходится к тому,
что раз в пять => всё равно индивидуально.
