Можно, в принципе, подумать над некоей схемой "переключения" между
"дистрибутивами" в рамках бранча. Но честно говоря, овчинка выделки не
стоит совершенно. Бранч есть бранч, как тут уже было сказано. Нам нужно,
конечно, исправить ситуацию с "повсеместным Сервером" в altlinux-release,
но я бы предпочёл её исправить в сторону
altlinux-release-{master,desktop,server,junior}, а не в сторону
altlinux-release-branch4. То же самое касается пакетов с дизайном и
настройками - всё это касается конкретных дистрибутивов, вот пусть с
соответствующими именами установленным и остаётся.
