По адресу ftp://beta.altlinux.ru/office-server/ через 6-7 часов будет
доступна очередная бета-версия дистрибутива для небольших офисов.

Отличия от предыдущей версии:
- при установке используется свежий инсталлятор
- alterator-iptables: переписан, разделён на режим эксперта и упрощённый
- alterator-apache2: появился в меню
- alterator-apt: выделенные источники по умолчанию предлагается включить,
а не удалить
- alterator-apt: источники исходных пакетов (rpm-src) удалены
- alterator-apt: по умолчанию включен ftp.altlinux.org
- alterator-postfix-sasl: по умолчанию выдаёт тип сервера Dovecot
(Cyrus пока отсутствует)
- alterator-postfix-restrictions: размеры почтового ящика и сообщений
указаны в мегабайтах
- добавлены alterator-nut, alterator-xinetd, cups, cups-ppd, acpid
- при установке заносится button в /etc/modules, чтобы можно было
выключить сервер одной кнопкой
Известные недоделки, которые будут исправлены:
- отсутствие справки у некоторых модулей альтератора
- не доделан модуль amanda-server
ALT Linux 4.0 Office Server - cерверная операционная система
с фиксированным набором функций, полностью настраиваемая через
веб-интерфейс (преемник ALT Linux SOHO Server).
