Какая карта? Если xpress 200 - то лучше не обновлятся.
Вернее, конечно обновление поможет решить данную конкретную проблему.
Но, появляется одна большая неприятность - нестабильная работа kde и X.
X-ы перезагружаются сами когда захотят - типичное время после 5-6 часов
работы (xorg из ALD-4.0 или branch - без разницы) . Можно использовать
драйвер ati. А fglrx вообще снести.
