control - единый интерфейс управления системными объектами.
В первую очередь используется для управления файлами, которые могут
повредить безопасности системы.
В дистрибутиве ALM2.2 все такие файлы либо упакованы отдельно, либо
управляются с помощью этого интерфейса.
Поддержка обновлений пакетов делает control особенно эффективным при
использовании на серверах.
Я, конечно, могу ещё сотню-другую таких описаний составить, только не
уверен, что оно того стоит.
