Отодвиньте в сторону ~/.wmndrc, если был -- оно умело давиться
старым, автор не озадачился аккуратным переносом настроек.
На всякий случай прилагаю свой текущий.

Он работает только с APM :( Я как-то полез с намерением
попробовать прикрутить ACPI, но обломался.
Одна из двух причин, которые держат на полусломанном APM
имени ThinkPad A30p (правда, со староватыми BIOS/CP).

wmacpi, в смысле контроллер батареек, совсем врёт?
Альтернативы на ibam я на dockapps.org так и не нашёл.
2 community: если вдруг кому окажется интересным на досуге
прикрутить к wmibam поддержку ACPI -- с радостью выставлюсь
любимым напитком в Киеве или на LF10 :)
