Могу попробовать вытряхнуть скриптик, которым оценивал разницу
между Server 4.0.0 и 4.0.1 (хотя Дима потом более точную
информацию запостил).

Есть.
Не знаю, как с Desktop, а с Server в коробке помимо двух CD
(i586/x68_64) идут два DVD9 с контрибами соответственно.
PS: как понимаете, мастерить-то могли и DVD9, просто после
Compact 3.0 было изрядно нареканий на то, что его переписать
другу выходит неудобно.
