alsa живёт в модулях.
в настоящее время smp ядро используется как на машинах с 1 cpu, так и
на машинах с более чем 1 cpu. (std|wks)-up ядра канули в лету.
т.о. apt-get install kernel-modules-alsa-std-smp решит проблему путём
установки нового ядра и модулей alsa для него.
