На самом деле, если посмотреть тот-же gparted CD, там просто спрашивают
у пользователя - как загружать X - с vesa, фreймбуфером, (для nvidia),
nv или nvidia (а может его и нет, не помню :) ). Такой вариант не
напрягает пользователя - он может по очереди попробовать все варианты,
и найти тот, который подходит для его конкретного компа.
Хотя по-моему из всего графического реально нужен только сам gparted, и
если X никак не загружаются, то надо пользоваться parted.
Плохо что графический gparted обогнал по возможностям неграфичеческий
parted, вот это напрягает :)
