Обычный модуль,
# modinfo dm_mod |fgrep description
description: device-mapper driver
> Модпробе обламывается с жалобой на его недоступность.
Видимо, не установлен пакет kernel-image, соответствующий
загруженному ядру.
Хотя dm_mod, скорее всего, тут не при чём, раз lilo жаловался
на Inconsistent partition table.
