День добрый!
С самбой я знаком не очень. Раньше линух жил отдельно сам по себе.
Сейчас дома два компьютера с winXP и ALC 3.0.4: home-1st и home-2nd. Оба
входят в рабочую группу home.net
Если обращаться к по адресу smb://home-1st.home.net, то после ввода имени и
пароля пользователя я получаю доступ к его сетевым папкам. Если пишу просто
smb:/, то в конкерере вижу свою группу home.net, но при её открытии там нет
ни home-1st, ни home-2nd.
Не подскажите, почему такое происходит?

А посмотрите в kde там как-то иначе можно было еще... типа lan:/
На работе посмотрю поточнее (через smb:/ у меня часть компов тоже не видно
и войти в них не получается.

lan:/ даёт пустое окно...
