А чем в Линуксе можно создать многотомный архив?
Вариант "сначала tar потом split" не подходит. Нужен именно такой чтобы можно было сразу развернуть (причем на вражеской территории).
Rar в комплект ALC 3 не входит. Да я и не знаю будет ли незарегистрированый rar создавать многотомные архивы.

7z - единственый свободный архиватор с нужной функциональность. Умеет
делать архивы "чужих" форматов
