Может прописать этот unknown <ip> в dns или хотя-бы
в /etc/hosts ?
В main.cf postfix'а в mynetworks этот <unknown ip> указан ?
Можно попробовать включить в postfix: main.cf
debug_peer_level = 2
debug_peer_list = этот самый unknown ip
и посмотреть что проиходит.
