Я пользовал это дело. Под линуксом, действительно, никаких проблем. А вот под
виндой (FreeOTFE) проблемы были. Когда на 4Г том записал данных почти под
завязку, том умер. Хорошо, что бэкап был. И еще была проблема. Чтобы том
нормально виделся и под виндой, и под линуксом, его надо было создавать в
линуксе.
А кроссплатформенность для меня - немаловажная вещь.
Пока что на truecrypt нареканий нет, используется из под винды и из под ALC
3.0.
