Не заметил после чего, но в mc перестали местами отображаться киррилические
буковки. Т.е. сами надпись меню на нижней панели (F2, F3 и т.д.) отображаются
нормально, F9 (меню) - вместо русских букв пробелы. Также и при просмотре
киррилических текстов. В других консольных приложениях - все прекрасно...

Локаль - CP1251, система - АЛМ-2.4 с точечными обновлениями, в основном в плане
мультимедии
