Там действительно все грустно. Не знаю как с интеловскими дровами, а я ставил в
конфиге вместо "i810", или как там, "vesa" - тогда и вправду прыгало до 87 герц.
Иначе 60, не смотря ни на что. Но ни с i810, ни тем более с vesa никакого
3D-ускорения добиться не получалось.

И не даст - там автомат работает. Как-то слыхал о каких-то видюхах для которых
нужно это вручную устанавливать.
