Есть у меня принтер epson c43sx. Модель не новая и не экзотическая. А драйверов под него не видать. Для 42sx есть, затем идет 44, 46, 50 и т.д.
Что посоветуете?

Попробовать от 42sx, если на linuxprinting.org иного не предложат.

Уважаемое коммьюнити!
Какую кодировку надо указывать в качестве popup_font_encoding для LyX в
ALC3.0 чтобы не было кракозябр? В gtkrc положение спасло pt154, но в LyX
не помогает. С интерфейсом Qt он, конечно, работает, но всё равно частично
рисует кракозябры (наименования ссылок).
Заранее спасибо.

Драйвер есть в пакете gimp-print.
