Давненько я здесь не был. Видимо потому, что не было проблем с линуксом. Но вот решил поставить ALT 3.0.4 и тут такое началось...
Возможно тут уже обсуждались странности установки поэтому много говорить не буду. Если кому-то интересно - спрашивайте. Расскажу подробно.
А пока вопрос такой. После установки система грузится (без рибута) и работает. Но после перезагрузки LILO показывает на экране только букву "L" и рядышком мигает курсор. И все. Гантеля. Гружу с CD спасательную систему. Монтирую свой /dev/hda5 куда-нибудь в /mnt/d5. Смотрю /etc/lilo.conf - ничего крамольного. Говорю lilo -r /mnt/d5, а он мне "/proc/devices: fopen failed: No such file or directory", потом Adding все, что прописано в lilo.conf. Перегружаюсь, а результат тот же.
Так вот, вопрос. Раньше во всех (2.0, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4) при инсталляции можно было сделать дискету (и я ее делал и даже пользоваться приходилось), и если какая-то гадость уродовала MBR, можно было загрузить с этой дискеты установленую на HDD систему и все исправить. Как сейчас загрузить установленную систему, если lilo отказывается это делать???
