Выключенный UPS - это полная бессмыслица. У меня дома Ippon
Smart Protect Pro 1000, который по ночам поддерживает сервер
(маршрутизатор) на безвентиляторной материнской плате от VIA, ну
и всю квартирную сеть. Разумеется UPS и не слышно. Если
электричество отрубается, то кроме звукового сигнала хорошо
слышен шум вентилятора. При восстановлении питания вентилятор,
естественно, отключается.
Ночью по cron'у происходит зеркалирование Сизифа на локальный
сервер. И т.д. Одним словом, этой моделью я очень доволен, хотя
собирался покупать Sven Power Smart 1000.
