А, между прочим, и я заметил, что некоторые принтеры как бы забыты.
Вот, например, своего HP LJ 1100 я в списке драйверов для cups не
нашел, что выглядит несколько неожиданно, если учесть, что настройка
именно этого принтера (правда, через foomatic, а не через интерфейс
cups) приводится в качестве примера в руководстве пользователя.
В общем, долго думал, какой из generic драйверов выбрать, а
потом пошарил в сети и нашел нужный ppd. Подложил к cups'у --
работает. Странно, что его не было по умолчанию.
