Никакой это не RAID. Более того, на запрос драйверов для FC4 из Adaptec
пришёл ответ, что таких драйверов не будет, и предложение купить другой
контроллер:

Впрочем, в ядре 2.6.16 появился драйвер sata_mv, который позволяет
использовать эту карту как SATA-контроллер (без функций RAID, которые там
на самом деле реализуются программно). Однако этот драйвер пока ещё
довольно сырой (в 2.6.16.1 в нём правилась пара серьёзных ошибок, и
буквально вчера появился патч, исправляющий ещё несколько проблем).
