Просто в двоичном виде оно проще и нагляднее. Умеете считать в десятичном
виде - считайте. Мне, к примеру, тоже проще в двоичном - меньше вероятность
ошибки. Но утверждать, что в десятичном виде нельзя считать адреса/маски,
по меньшей мере, опрометчиво. :-)
