Так человеку нужен *терминал-сервер*, или таки сетевая *загрузка*?
Если первое, то не пудрить мозги, а просто посетить ltsp.ru, если второе -- в
документации (howto) лежит вполне подробный рецепт.
PS: в процессе *быстрого* поднятия что сетевой загрузки, что терминального
класса, хорошо показывает себя dnsmasq, можно не возиться с настройкой
динамичиского обновления для bind, только в dnsmasq.conf нужно не забыть
добавить:
dhcp-option=128,e4:45:74:68:00:00
dhcp-boot=/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.19-ltsp-1,gateway.lms.iao.ru,192.168.17.193
dhcp-option=17,192.168.17.193:/opt/ltsp/i386
где gateway.lms.iao.ru и 192.168.17.193 -- имя и адрес сервера загрузки
соотв.
