вот такая фигня просиходит иногда, когда пытаешься команду запустить
из mc.
Это лечится как нибудь?

Тем не менее правда.
Объехать можно -- стукнув несколько <enter> после выполнения
команды, не делая Ctrl-O в процессе, ну и в крайнем разе F10.
В общем, лучше для запуска чего-либо mc не применять, там ещё
с TERM вроде были нюансы и не только...
